Ok, so bad planning means that this is actually my 101st post. Forgive me! I think perhaps I've broken some sort of cardinal blogger rule. I have seen that it's traditional 'round the blogosphere to post a special post on your 100th post.  It often seems to be 100 things about yourself, which seems incredibly daunting. I first saw it done in this style - broken out in categories of 10 things at a time - on Anymommy's blog. I am stealing it! It's a great way to organize such a huge list, and it means I'll actually write it. Bonus!

When I started this blog, I never imagined that I'd a)Make it to my 100th post or b)Actually manage to break into this awesome community and have Real! Live! Readers! who care about what I have to say. It still baffles me, each and every day.

I am continuing to try and improve this blog. The content of my posts, the little extras in the sidebar, etc...  Keep an eye out, and let me know what you think.

Without further ado.... the meme!

  2. Our dog, Misty, had puppies during my grandfather's birthday party.  Weeks later, they all charged me at once and ran me over!

  5. I used to go under my covers with a flashlight and read until I fell asleep.

LOVED getting to know you a little better! Even more reasons that I know I would love you "IRL" as much as I love you online.

Congrats on 101! May you reach many hundreds more.

And chocolate croissants??? Possibly the most yummy goodness in the world.

Congrats on making ot to 101! Keep it up!
Also, I'm the same way about Jodi Picoult. I must keep a box of tissues next to me when I read her books!

You'd think I wouldn't want to read her because of the crying... but her books are SO GOOD! My favorite so far has been Keeping Faith and My Sister's Keeper.

I don't think I negotiated that new comment login very well?

I adored reading this. My Sister's Keeper - I sobbed through it. The ending about killed me. Also, I just laughed out loud for like ten minutes about the muffin joke, that is awesome. Chocolate croissants, yummy, I guess we know we can all hang out at a bakery in Chicago??

It's different (the login) but since you use blogger, you can use your OpenID url, which would be username.blogspot.com.

I read the last chapters of Sisters Keeper at work, 7 1/2 months pregnant. I cried so hard I had people asking me what was wrong all day!

This is the most kick-ass 100th post ever! You rock, I'm inspired and might actually steal this some day. :-)
